Over Rs 18.37bn deposited in PM relief funds
KATHMANDU: More than Rs 18.37 billion has been deposited in the Prime Minister Disaster Rescue Fund and the Prime Minister Relief Fund, following the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM), the funds had received over Rs 18.37 billion in financial assistance as of 9:00 am on Thursday.
Of the total amount, Rs 13.62 billion has been deposited in nine separate accounts at Rastriya Banijya Bank. In addition, dollar-denominated accounts held at Himalayan Bank and Laxmi Sunrise Bank contain a combined $31.425 million.
